The olive-grove shrouded Masseria Montenapoleone exists in an in-between world of grit and wonder, agrarian bounty, and homesteading secrets that go back generations; Walk down the perfectly preserved and lush with flora grounds settled above ancient sea caves, and you’ll find yourself treading across a three-dimensional romanticist fresco: where sheep materialize like cloud plumes on the horizon on one side, motley blossoms, prickly pears, and colorful shrooms pop next to whitewashed Tufo limestone on the other; scalloped arches and passages laced with billowing drapes give access to vineyards and secret gardens. Touching upon the sweetness of getting together to celebrate love in the Olive orchard meadow, Joy Proctor envisioned the textures, hues, and movement that can make any pep-full summer wedding next level. Be it the bride’s sunset kissed looks, wild blue yonder tulle gown, and custom-made by Joy kicks, the winding Henry Sutton Palmer cottage-painting-reminiscent aisle; or perhaps the Shhh My Darling oh-la-la illustrations matching watercolor blooms and handmade linens it was one dreamy detail after the next.
